A: Worth every penny
My grandson has enjoyed this book since he was 6 months old. He plays the songs over and over and hums the tune. The quality of music is excellent. He is now 1 1/2 years and still plays the songs every day.

B: Brings together generations
Play-a-song Bible Songs has been a hit in our household since it came in the door over 5 years ago. My son was very young when he took the book on a car ride with Grandpa, and Grandpa sang right along to "I'll Be a Sunbeam", remembering his own Sunday School days. This definitely didn't happen with the "Bear in the Big Blue House" CD my son was enamored with at the time. Also, even with frequent use, the batteries still not have had to be replaced.
With only four songs, it is not overwhelming for the very young. Each two-page spread has the words to a song, an illustration depicting the story it tells, and a colored shape that corresponds to the music button for that song. The tinkling instrumental music is not nearly as annoying as most "musical" books. It doesn't bother me, even with sometimes constant repetition.
